Missing Critical Communication in Business

The corporate entity is missing essential information and value necessary to make critical decisions. The culture is prohibitive of bottom-up communication, and there are no pathways for access. For instance, all-hands employee meetings serve to flow down information from the top and only provide the impression of communication — these types of communication lack any real ability to uncover hidden knowledge and severely hamper accurate decisions. The decision-makers are missing key operational information opportunities. Both Verizon and ATT have examples of this.

The goal would be to have procedural and cultural awareness that would allow for total organizational engagement on critical vision and decisions. The coaching process is the best way to achieve corporate and cultural change. Organizations are complex entities on their own; therefore, leadership will need to discover the answers which make sense for their environment and staff. This is a process of self-discovery that will enable the fastest and most efficient, effective pathway to change.
