“Success is… knowing your purpose in life, growing to reach your maximum potential, and sowing seeds that benefit others.” ― John C. Maxwell
How many of us feel successful?
I’ve had the great opportunity to travel a little bit. I lived in Korea for 2 years, been to Europe, France. Spent some time in India. And do you know what I have seen in every place I go? People. Now, you may be thinking to yourself, “Oh, this guy is a winner! He’s a real Captain Obvious, he’s seen ‘people’.” But before you start looking for the exit, hear me out. When I travel to these countries, my purpose is a working engagements for the most part, and I have the opportunity to not just be around people, but to get to know them. How many of you know that just because you’re at the grocery store with people, they aren’t necessarily your friends. But almost all of the people I have had an opportunity to meet, and there’s a lot of them, are Good people. What do I mean by the word “Good?” I mean they have good intentions. If they are parents, they want to be a good mom or dad for their kids. If they are working, they want to contribute to the team. In their personal time and life they want to do the right thing and be the right person. And there is something else. Every person I’ve ever met, have hopes and dreams.
The busyness and difficulty of life can put all of our hopes, dreams, and desires on hold. It can make us feel like we are not successful. But success is not a destination, it's a journey. If you are waking up and being responsible and doing the best you can do - You Are Successful Right Now!
So take a moment to dance, to dream, and desire to pursue your dreams.
